SPUD AAA Minor Hockey Tournament
 

February 5th to 8th, 2009
On behalf of the Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association (CMHA), I would like to invite all AAA teams (Novice to Midget Minor Male and Atom AA to Midget Female AA) to participate in the Mark’s Work Wearhouse SPUD AAA Tournament starting on Thursday, February 5th and ending with 9 Championships games on Sunday, February 8th, 2009.

This will be the 34th birthday of the SPUD, bringing the event to nine divisions and hosting 120 teams.

All Divisions should be prepared to begin play on Thursday afternoon or early evening. The official SPUD Tournament schedule will be available online no later than January 8th, 2009.

All players from the winning and runner up Championship finals will receive our famous Mark’s Work Wearhouse SPUD jackets or hoodies. The MVP from each Championship winning team will receive a $300.00 voucher for a pair of skates while the MVP from the runner up team receives a Hockey Kit Bag.

The Spud features some of the best young talent in Atlantic Canada. Come enjoy the opportunity to watch over 225 games in a friendly social atmosphere which the Mark's Work Wearhouse SPUD Tournament s famous for, even try our famous SPUD potato soup sponsored by the Culinary Institute and the PEI Potato Board.

Teams are encouraged to get their applications in early to avoid disappointment.

This is just not another hockey tournament, this is THE SPUD !
