Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association will be accepting registrations for the upcoming 2007 – 2008 season on the following dates.

Late registration until October 31st at City Hall (Late fee $20)

Residents $220, third and subsequent player $110
Non-resident $340,third and subsequent player $170
Checking fees for boys born in 1996 $20
Checking fees for boys born in 1995 $10

At registration, every player must register in his or her age division. The following chart will be in effect for 2007-2008.

Changes may be considered later by the Executive on a case by case basis, in accordance with CMHA policies.

For players at Novice age and above, you can choose to try out for ‘Representative’ teams or play in the ‘A’ level. Conditioning camps, open only to CMHA players, provide additional fitness and on-ice training before the formal team selection process begins at the start of the regular season.

The CMHA is committed to providing equal access to girls who want to play hockey. The girls program will return with teams at the Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget levels. All teams are subject to sufficient numbers registering. Girls must choose, at registration, whether they wish to play in the girls program or the boys program.

Registration dues must be paid in full by the end of October. A refund is available to players who withdraw from the CMHA based on the following;

• Full refund before the end of October,
• Partial refund before the end of November,
• No refund after the end of November.

All players of Peewee age and over playing boys hockey must, this year or in a previous year, have completed a PEIHA certified checking clinic before the start of the season. All first year Peewee players must register for a certification clinic. Any player who misses the checking clinic must make arrangements to take the clinic at another association.

All second year Peewee players playing boys hockey who have previously taken the certification clinic must take a checking clinic refresher. The cost is $10.00, to be paid at registration.

Further dates, times, locations and specific instructions on what is required to register for minor hockey and the respective clinics will be made available as soon as possible.

When you register your son or daughter in our association, you become a member of the CMHA. You can attend, speak at, and vote at our annual meeting in May.
